In-Home Care also called Home and Community Base Care typically refers to non-medical services that assist individuals with activities of daily living. In-Home Care is an increasingly popular choice for care because it enables individuals to remain in their own environments, and can also be a lifesaver for caregivers.
For example, simple tasks such as setting up medications, housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation, opening a jar, or personal hygiene can become increasingly difficult for many older adults. Respite Care, Homemaker Services, Personal Care, and Nursing Services are available. Respite Care is companionship and oversight of a loved one so the caregivers can take a break or tend to personal business for themselves. Homemaker Services include assistance with such things as housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation and laundry. Personal Care assistants help with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and transferring. Nursing Services are for health evaluations, medication and insulin set ups, nail care and evaluating the client’s care plan.
HomeCare of Mid-Missouri is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist our clients in whatever capacity is needed.
